Overwatch has received a new patch today on consoles, though it’s definitely one of the smaller updates that the game has received. Update 2.15 is now available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners of Overwatch to download, and this one is dedicated entirely to bug fixes.
There are only four fixes that have been made via this patch, which are broken down into general bug fixes and hero bug fixes. The following are the complete patch notes:
General bug fixes
- Fixed a bug that caused some players to lose audio during the match
- Fixed a bug causing the vacuum-of-space sound effects from the Horizon Lunar Colony menu screen to persist even after selecting a new menu area
Hero bug fixes
- Fixed a bug that prevented Pharah’s “I am the rocket queen” voice line from playing correctly
- Fixed a bug that allowed Orisa’s ultimate to charge while her Supercharger was deployed
While some might have hoped that the newest patch would be the one to add new hero Doomfist into the game, that one is likely coming soon. The character is currently being tested in the game’s PTR on PC, with his official launch expected to happen at some point this Summer. Dataminers also recently discovered references to this year’s Summer Games event, which also revealed that Doomfist will be getting Summer Games skins. This seems to suggest that the character is definitely going to officially be added into the game soon.
Overwatch is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
