So, Final Fantasy XV is coming to PlayStation VR. The long and action-packed story of the Final Fantasy series, by Square Enix, is still alive and kicking, but the twist this time around is that you can play the game through the eyes of Prompto. Now, this won’t be for the entire game, and I believe it’s only for one specific game mode, but the fact of the matter is, that’s frickin’ badass man.
In terms of crowd response at E3, Final Fantasy got some claps, but it wasn’t anything over the top. Personally, I haven’t played a Final Fantasy game since FFX, solely due to the fact that they come out so often, on so many different systems, some are pay per month while others aren’t, and I just can’t keep up.
Now, after the trailer was shown, nobody said a word about the game. Sony just went on into another trailer, which makes my job a little tough, but the trailer will be left directly under my article and you can expect to see Final Fantasy XV on September 30 on PS4 and Xbox One. However, you won’t be playing the VR mode right away, because PlayStation VR won’t be available until October 13 for $399 USD. Final Fantasy XV, along with 50 other confirmed titles, will be available this year for the PlayStation VR!
