The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s Champions’ Ballad DLC packs some intriguing new content, but none of it as anywhere near as intriguing as the Master Cycle Zero motorcycle. While we already told you how to get the DLC up and running and how to get the coveted motorcycle, this guide will tell you what to do when the darn thing runs out of fuel.
That’s right – despite the fact that the game describes the Master Cycle Zero as being Link’s very own Divine Beast, the things actually runs on fuel. You can tell how much fuel it has left by the gauge that appears on the bottom right side of the screen near the mini map, and when it turns red a prompt will appear on the screen that informs you that it’s out of fuel. You’ll come to a gradual halt, and now it’s up to you to refuel the thing.
The game will inform you that the Master Cycle Zero can be refueled by placing materials in its fuel tank, meaning that you can chuck just about anything into the tank to get some fuel into it. However, the key here is that the amount of fuel refilled depends upon the quality of what you put into it. If you toss some low-level food in there it will only be refilled a little bit, but if you toss in more rare materials like an Ancient Spring you’ll refill a significant portion of the tank. You can experiment with what you throw in there to refuel it, but always make sure that you have a stocked inventory whenever your motorcycle decides to crap the bed.
This should tell you everything that you need to know about refueling the Master Cycle Zero in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Champions’ Ballad DLC, so stock up on items and get riding.
