Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is a very social-focused experience, just as the other games in the series were. You’ll be able to interact with other actual players throughout your adventures in the game, being able to check out their campsite’s and even giving them a friendly kudos. You can also send them gifts (though not in the traditional sense… yet), and this guide will show you how.
As of right now, the gifting system is very basic and can only be done by way of a 100 bell gift linked to a certain area. If you’ve been playing Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp for a while now then you probably have noticed the area called Shovelstrike Quarry, which requires you to pay 20 Leaf Tickets to get in. However, you can also get in with the help of 5 friends, and it is through this system where you are able to send gifts in the form of 100 bells.
When you’re ready to help out a friend or even receive some help yourself, you just need to navigate to your friends list. If you see an icon on your friend’s page that shows that they are looking for help to enter Shovelstrike Quarry, just click on their profile and then click on the option to help them out. You will get 100 bells for every friend that you successfully help enter the Quarry, and they will also receive 100 bells if they help you get inside.
We realize that this isn’t really the most ideal gifting system by any means, but it’s likely that this will be a feature that will come to the game at a future time. The game just released earlier this month and has plenty of features that will be added to the game with updates, so for now we’ll just have to play the waiting game until we can send our buddies gifts.
That should tell you everything you need to know about sending and receiving gifts in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, so be sure to always ask and give help to friends trying to enter Shovelstrike Quarry for some easy bells.
