You really can’t help but feel little butterflies in your stomach when new games are revealed at E3. It has most certainly had that kind of effect on me over the years. We have seen new and upcoming titles storming the headlines over the past few months but we’re still unsure about the overall outcome in terms of definite releases in 2016. The wait is finally closing in as the E3 event will be launching on June 14th in LA.
Expect new announcements from the big dogs at Sony and the biggest developers out there including Rockstar Games and Naughty Dog. With the most recent release of Uncharted 4 from Naughty Dog which has been a huge success, everyone is sat waiting in the wings for the highly anticipated release of The Last of Us 2. This blockbuster franchise is expected to be discussed at E3, especially after many rumors have been bought out into the open in enthusiastic fan discussions. Also expect to see the curtain being lifted by other huge developers in the gaming world including Bethesda, Microsoft and Ubisoft. Announcements are being thrown left right and center by new and current developers in the gaming world. The excitement is becoming too much to bear and I can openly admit that this anticipation is killing me.
Other huge titles that will be put under the big spotlight include:
- The Legend of Zelda
- Final Fantasy XV
- Battlefield 1
- Titan Fall 2
- Watch Dogs 2
- Crackdown 3
- Forza Horizon 3
- Mass Effect Andromeda
For E3, 2016 is already set to be one of the best years yet in terms of new game and console releases and from what I’ve already seen in the headlines, I can already tell it is going to be a remarkable event for the gaming world.
