We’ve all heard that Samsung is re-launching its Galaxy Note 7 which was great from the start except for the exploding batteries. Now, it seems that the device will indeed become available once again in South Korea. The refurbished Galaxy Note 7 will arrive in the homeland of the manufacturing company before the end of June. Naturally, it will be a little cheaper than the original version. To be more exact, it will cost approximately $250 less than last year’s model. Hopefully, this won’t explode like that did.
We must admit that apart from the battery issues, which were severe, the original Galaxy Note 7 was great. The refurbished Galaxy Note 7 will most likely come with a smaller battery in order to avoid the same problems the original model had. We also know now that the refurbished version will feature a newer version of Google’s operating system. As we recently reported, the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Other than these, the specs and features of the handset should remain the same as the ones found in the original model. It will have the same beautiful dual-edge screen, the amazing stylus and a whole lot of power under the hood.
Samsung is still working on this year’s Galaxy Note 8. It should be just as amazing as last year’s model, so choosing between the two could prove to be difficult in South Korea. After all, the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 will also be a great device. Unfortunately, it will only be available in South Korea. The rest of the world will have to go for the Galaxy Note 8 instead. This probably will be more expensive, but it will most likely also have new features to offer. Until then, customers from South Korea can eagerly wait for the Galaxy Note 7 to re-launch in their country.
