If you’re like me, and positively dreading the current American presidential election cycle, then you’ll probably have little to celebrate. However, Creative Assembly, the makers of the popular Total War franchise have cause to celebrate and are cordially inviting you along for the ride. In honor of the Summer Steam Sales currently going on until the 4th of July, Creative Assembly is hosting a little exercise in democracy. Taking the titles of all of the Total War games it has released in the past sixteen years (excluding the newest release, Total War: Warhammer) Creative Assembly has decided to host a vote on their twitter feed, where the fans of the series vote on their favorite game to determine the ultimate fan-favorite.
Our #SteamSummerSale quest continues… Which game will win?

Some votes, like yesterdays, have been as close as the recent Brexit vote across the pond (although, no calls for a revote yet) but most of the previous votes have been split somewhat evenly. It is a testimony to the fact that Creative Assembly can create a good game if opinions between two of them are so evenly divided. Todays vote, Medieval Vs. Medieval II has been the first major landslide with Medieval II getting a whopping 92% of the vote. Although the day’s still young, and there’s plenty of time to get out there and cast your vote.
