Bethesda have officially revealed that the upcoming shooter Doom will be released on May 13th. The game is set to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Bethesda have also revealed a “premium collector’s edition,” along with bonuses for those who pre-order the game. If you consider yourself a collector, then this may interest you as it comes with a 12-inch statue of the Revenant demon that can be seen in the trailer. The statue looks great on an LED base that illuminates figure. The collector’s edition also includes a steel case.
If you decide to pre-order the game you will receive a multiplayer pack, which contains “a unique demon armour set with three skin variations, six metallic paint colours,” along with three Id logos players can apply “to weapons and armour.” There will also be something known as “Hack Modules,” which are consumable items designed to give you the upper hand.
The collector’s edition is ready for pre-order and costs $120/ €130/£100. The standard edition is also available for pre-order. The game was listed on Amazon for June, but we are now going to get our hands on the highly anticipated shooter on May 13th.
