Summer is upon us, and that means that we’re in the season where there’s lots of video game sales to give gamers more to do over the break. Steam currently has their big Summer sale going on, but now the Humble Store has an awesome deal that will only be available for a limited time.
The original Killing Floor is currently available to download for free through the Humble Store, which is a price that I’m sure anyone interested in the game is fine with paying. You can grab the game for yourself by clicking this link, add it to your cart and then check out and you’ll have your Steam key.
This version of the game does not come with any of the game’s DLC, but it is the entire base game. Seeing as the game has been around for so long now and some never got a chance to check it out, now is as good of a time as any. The game originally launched in 2009, and got its start as an Unreal Tournament modification. It’s considered to be one of the best horde-based shooters of its era, and is one that many others took influence from in the following years.
For those of you who are more interested in playing something a little more modern, Killing Floor 2 is also being offered for 50% off through the Humble Store. That game launched at the end of 2016 and brought lots of big improvements over the original, making it a deeper and more polished experience overall. That game is available on PlayStation 4 and PC, and is well worth checking out for anyone that is a fan of horde-based shooters. It is actually currently available to download for free for PlayStation Plus subscribers during June, so if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber be sure to grab it while you still can.
