Final Fantasy XV finally launched late last year, bringing the long-awaited new installment in the classic RPG series to gamers after many years of development. The game was very well-received, though the developers of the game have been diligent when it comes to addressing issues and adding new content. One way they have gauged what fans want the most out of the game is through surveys, and now they have released a new one.
The survey will be coming through an update that the game will be receiving today, and it will be available until June 6th. It will be accessible through the Special section of the main menu, which will once again allow those who take the survey the ability to voice their opinion on which of the listed features they would like to see implemented into the game. Whichever options get picked the most will lead to the development team discussing them internally, and then potentially adding them in later on.
One of the big options for the survey is that of being able to play as new characters, with Lunafreya, Cor, Iris, Gentiana and Aranea being options. Aranea and Cor join your squad briefly throughout the campaign, but it will definitely be interesting to see Lunafreya, Iris or Gentiana in action. Other options in the survey include the likes of a hard mode, new abilities and more. It will be interesting to see which of these end up being the winner, and if they get incorporated into the game as free or paid DLC.
The game has received some worthwhile free content since its November launch, which includes the likes of an expanded chapter 13. The developers have been doing a great job of keeping fans engaged with the game, and have plenty of paid DLC set to release throughout 2017. The story DLC called Episode Gladiolus launched earlier this year, and will be followed by Episode Prompto and Episode Ignis later this year.
Final Fantasy XV is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
