Mass Effect Andromeda certainly has its issues, but there have been some updates released since its launch in order to deal with the rough spots. The latest one to be released is the 1.07 patch, which addresses a handful of issues in the game. It’s definitely not as big as the 1.06 patch, but it nevertheless packs some important fixes to improve performance.
The following are the complete patch 1.07 patch notes:
- Fixed issue where server would auto disconnect when sending strike teams on APEX missions.
- Fixed a crash on UNC Outlaw when nearing outpost of signal source. (Kadara S.O.S.)
- The Athletic Casual Outfit will now unlock for all entitled players (Deluxe edition content)

The game definitely didn’t turn out the way that fans or the company hoped it would, which has caused the series itself to be put on hiatus. The game’s developer, BioWare Montreal, is now focused entirely on providing support for the game, dealing with the technical issues that are still present. Typically the development team would be moving onto the next game in the series, but for the time being the future of the series is in question. It’s a shame, especially considering the quality and success of the earlier games in the series.
Mass Effect Andromeda is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Despite the game coming up short with its story and the odd character animations, most agreed that the game’s fantastic combat and exploration stopped it from being a complete disappointment. However, it nevertheless failed to reach the heights of the original trilogy, which were considered to be some of the best games of the last console generation.
