Crashed and pitted against nature in all its beauty and terror, it is up to you to cope with this disaster and survive the trials of being Stranded Deep.
Based in some coordinates unknown of the Pacific ocean, this game aims to break away from the mold and simulate what it might actually be like to be stranded. Providing you with a truly realistic survival experience, rather than swarming you with the supernatural. You will not find anything other than you and nature doing primal combat as you struggle to survive with the limited supplies the middle of nowhere has to offer.
Using the flora and fauna of the islands, as well as shipwrecks that provide you with some seriously necessary supplies, you must construct: tools, shelter, rafts, ways to collect water and defend yourself. Keep this in mind, you must have a bed to save the game! So, building a bed should be your first objective, just don’t starve or dehydrate to death in the process! Tip: Coconuts are going to be your best friend early game.
If you are searching for a realistic experience, Stranded Deep hits it on the head. You will not be bombarded by endless baddies or unnecessary violence, but you will have to compete against the actual and natural boons of survival, which turns out, are actually quite deadly.
Explore strings of islands, which are generated in a way that provides for a unique world each time you start a new game, shipwrecks, and marine ecosystems. Careful, though, sharks and the like lay in wait! Stranded Deep is available on Steam for $15, and is operational on Mac and PC. Stranded Deep is in early access so expect at least some bugs. Also, content is still being released so your world will be changing frequently! Take part in this exciting process and get stranded!
