Among the many role playing games launching next year in North America and Europe, Fire Emblem Fates is definitely one of the more anticipated. The game has been rather successful in Japan so it will be interesting to see how the market will receive the two different versions of the game. Alongside these two versions, a Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition is also going to be released, which will include the content of the two other versions and more.
The Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition has been made available for pre-order by various retailers in the past few weeks but many of them have stopped taking pre-orders online. A few hours ago, however, the Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition has been made available for pre-order again on GameStop. Make sure to pre-order it as soon as possible if you haven’t been able to do so already, as it may become unavailable again in the very near future.
Fire Emblem Fates is one of the more unique entries of the long running Fire Emblem series. The game will be released as two different editions called Birthright and Conquest, which will include different content such as different story paths, different playable characters, different maps and more. A third story path, called Revelation, will also be be made available for the game as DLC sometime after the game becomes available in North America and Europe. Alongside the Revelation DLC, Fire Emblem Fates has also received extra DLC maps in Japan, including maps inspired by previous entries of the series.
Fire Emblem Fates will be released next year in all regions on Nintendo 3DS. We will keep you updated on the game as soon as more comes in on it so stay tuned for all the latest news on the next entry of the popular series developed by Intelligent Systems.
